Comprehensive Conference and Event Management Experience
Lynn Beauregard is President of T.O Corporate Services Inc., a management company which provides a complete range of solutions for small and medium sized trade and professional associations. The company offers strategic, administrative, and conference and event management services to its clients. Some of the services provided by T.O Corporate Services Inc. include: convention planning, back office operations, membership maintenance and growth, IT and financial support, administrative and governance assistance, publications, marketing, educational services, and other membership services unique to the clients' industry interests and issues.
Lynn Beauregard is also President of the Canadian Society of Corporate Secretaries, a Canadian association representing the needs of governance professionals in Canada's private, public and non-profit sectors. Other organizations that her firm currently provides event planning and management services for include: the Canadian Association of Financial Institutions in Insurance (CAFII); the Travel Media Association of Canada (TMAC); the Canadian Association of Geriatric Psychiatrists (CAGP); itSMF Canada; the Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan (CAMVAP); and the Mortgage Backed Securities Issuers Association (MBSIA).
Over the years, Lynn has also managed events for the following organizations: Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA); Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA); The Canadian Convenience Store Association; the International Corporate Governance Institute (ICGN); and CODE.Incisive Association Event Planning and Management
Previously, Lynn Beauregard worked for the Institute for International Research (IIR), where she filled successive positions as Division Manager in their Paris office, Head of the Conference Divisions in their Toronto and Montreal offices, and Head of the Training and Business Solutions Division for Canada. Over her years of service with IIR, Lynn won international company recognition awards for achievements in production and profitability. Her achievements and contributions to IIR included creating a new and highly profitable conference niche by tailoring events in the field of corporate governance, initiating numerous successful partnerships with key industry associations, and conducting a successful launch of IIR's training group for the English and French markets in Canada.
Before she joined IIR, Lynn was the Editorial Administrator at Macleans Magazine, a company she joined in 1989. At Maclean's, Lynn supervised the editorial budget and managed its day to day operating expenses, oversaw the implementation of the new editorial publishing system, streamlined the production process, organized national consultations, and coordinated Maclean's key special editorial events and projects.An Active Association Member
In addition, Lynn Beauregard is currently the Chair of the Board for CODE, an NGO focused on delivering programs aimed at sustainable literacy in the developing world, and also chairs its Governance Committee. She is a member of the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE), the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN), and of the US Society of Governance Professionals and Corporate Secretaries.
Lynn holds a university degree in Business Administration and Psychology from Bishop's University. She was brought up in West Africa (Senegal), Montreal and New York; and she later spent time working in France. Lynn is a seasoned traveler and is fluent in French and Spanish.
