Jim Beretta, is principal at Customer Attraction, a strategic marketing consultancy.

Jim led the marketing function at ATS Automation, an automation systems integrator in the capital equipment industry. ATS's systems are used by manufacturers across a diverse spectrum of industries, from medical device, pharmaceutical, and electronics to consumer, automotive, and power generation industries. Jim was the driving force behind marketing and search strategies within ATS for most of his 17 year career. He is passionate about branding, trade show marketing and organic search as important components in the B2B marketing mix and in delivering high returns on investment for marketing efforts.

Jim worked as an advisor with Communitech Technology Association and as the Founding Executive Director for HalTech RIC Regional Innovation Centre, part of the Centres of Excellence for technology start-ups and innovation at Sheridan College.

Jim Beretta is a big proponent of social media for both personal branding and the business to business sector. He advises companies, manufacturers and associations on branding, social media, marketing, demand generation strategies and how to be found on the web using Search Engine Optimization.

His expertise surrounding association exhibitions and trade show marketing, sponsorship and sales strategy derives from his involvement with trade shows both as exhibitor and show manager for a leading B2B trade show company based out of London, England.

Jim earned his B.A. from the University of Western Ontario is an avid runner,photographer and volunteer. He lives in Cambridge with his wife, and has two daughters who currently attend university.
